The International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) evolved out of the Power and Mechanical Engineering Exposition which was launched in 1920 by IEC, and featured power generation equipment, as well as heating and ventilating products. In the late 1920's, the Power Show featured more and more heating and ventilating products which inspired IEC to create the International Heating and Ventilating Show in 1930. Since then, the Expostition has been presented in key markets throughout the U.S. Today, the Show, which is known as the AHR Expo, attracts tens of thousands of attendees from all facets of the industry, including contractors, engineers, dealers, distributors wholesalers, OEMs, architects and builders, industrial plant operators, facility owners and managers, agents and reps. Since 1930, the AHR Expo has been the HVAC&R professional’s best resource for new products, new ideas and new services. It’s a hands-on, interactive event that showcases a wide spectrum of equipment, systems, and components. This unique industry forum creates a dynamic marketing environment unequaled in size and scope by any other industry event. The event is co-sponsored by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI). It is held every year in conjunction with the ASHRAE Winter Meeting.
Registration Registration for the AHR Expo is included in your ASHRAE Winter Conference registration. If you only intend to register for the AHR Expo and NOT the ASHRAE Winter Conference, please visit the AHR Expo Web site.
