According to a survey of exhibitors at the 2008 AHR Expo, the school construction market rates as one of the strongest sectors thanks to public financing, student population growth, and an aging infrastructure In recognition of this important market, ASHRAE Journal addresses school HVAC systems and design in this special edition. To promote building energy efficiency, ASHRAE and its partners are making the Advanced Energy Design Guides—including the newest, for Small Warehouses—available for free download (PDF).
