Preventing Moisture and Mold Problems: Design and Construction Guidelines: 1-Day Seminar
The abundance of moisture and mold problems provides strong evidence that current building codes, standard practices and existing technology are not enough to prevent these pervasive problems. This course provides specific techniques for designers, contractors and owners to avoid these problems, at little or no impact on the project’s cost or schedule.
Some of the issues this course will address include:
- Proven techniques that can accurately predict future problems during the design phase,
- Enhanced TAB protocols that must be implemented if problems are to be consistently avoided,
- Simplified techniques to predict envelope problems caused by the HVAC system and
- Suggested tips if you’re either the plaintiff or the defendant in a legal proceeding.
The 100-page document: Preventing Moisture & Mold Problems: Design & Construction Guidelines will be included in the course materials.
