Coordinator - Region Activities

International non-profit organization in the engineering field seeks a coordinator for its members’ region activities. Frequent interaction with customers, potential customers and other industry professionals from around the world. Frequent cross-departmental collaboration to ensure smooth operation of the organization.

Candidates must demonstrate ability to be professional, to keep business matters confidential, to organize materials, and to maintain accurate records. Must be able to understand and carry out oral and written directions independently.

Requires a minimum of an Associate-level college degree OR at least 3 years’ related work experience. Non-profit experience is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and customer database management and have excellent English and grammatical skills. Must work well in a team-based environment.  Must be willing and able to travel for business for a week at a time twice a year.

Assistant Manager of Standards - International

ASHRAE seeks an Assistant Manager of Standards-International with a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or similar technical degree with at least 5 years experience. Experience in the development or application of consensus standards or codes and editing technical documents is a plus. Individuals with experience or knowledge in the development of international standards and the International Standards Organization are desired. Effective communication skills, good judgment and diplomacy are essential as this position interacts with outside international committees and organizations. This position requires international travel approximately three to four times per year.

Manager - Chapter Programs

ASHRAE, an international engineering society, seeks a manager to support 176 chapters and to coordinate the activities and programs of two committees. This position interacts with society volunteers, as well as, other internal managers and outside vendors.  The requirements are a college degree, effective written and oral communication skills, well-developed language and organizational skills, managerial experience, & good computer skills.  Must be able to travel twice a year for an entire week and at least one trip lasting four days.  Non-profit experience is preferred.   Free parking & excellent benefits.
