Basics of High-Performance Building Design

This course focuses on the basic application of relevant ASHRAE resources, such as Standards 90.1, 55, 62.1 and 189.1 and the ASHRAE Green Guide, to achieve High-Performance Building Design. The course explains the differences in purpose and requirements between these various Standards and provide recommendations on selection of which requirements to adopt into a building project assuming it is not under the jurisdiction of Standard 189.1 but the design team still wanted to achieve a reasonable degree of “High Performance Building Design”. Course content should be suitable for architects and engineers.
