Eligibility Requirements for ASHRAE Certification

Each ASHRAE certification program has its own eligibility criteria that consist of combinations of education and experience in the HVAC&R industry. The requirements are listed in each program’s Candidate Guidebook, which contains a tremendous amount of helpful information. ASHRAE encourages you to review the Candidate Guidebook for the program in which you are interested before completing and submitting an application.
