2012 ASHRAE/NIST Refrigerants Conference:
Moving Towards Sustainability

October 29 - 30, 2012
NIST Green Auditorium
National Institute of Standards & Technology
Gaithersburg, Maryland

The fourth jointly sponsored ASHRAE-NIST Refrigerants Conference addresses continuing international concerns about the adverse environmental impacts of refrigerants with high ozone depletion potential (ODP) and global warming potential (GWP), which is inevitably leading to increased focus on low GWP alternatives. This includes new generations of unsaturated fluorochemicals, with continued examination of “natural” refrigerants.

The conference explores technical issues and uses a global viewpoint to make a longer term forecast for success.
