TRACE™ 3D Plus Load Design Training

    Date: Tuesday, September 13, 2022
    Time: 8am – 4pm
Location: Palmer House Hilton, Grant Park Parlor
    Cost: $350

    Description

TRACE™ 3D Plus Load Design software is a separate program incorporating the load and system portion of the design process. In other words, it contains the functionality of TRACE 3D Plus minus the energy and economic portions of the program. Use this program to complete complex building load calculations for virtually any building. Trane C.D.S. provides a full day of training on Load Design.

    Objectives

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

    • Understand the program workflow, navigation, and input fields.
    • Utilize building themes and templates to reduce input time.
    • Practice using the drawing tools and creating a 3D model of a building for load design calculations.
    • Use advanced drawing techniques to model items such as multi-level rooms and complex roofs.
    • Add and configure systems for the building model.
    • Take a brief look at plant level load calculations.
    • Create multiple alternatives to model various choices.
    • Learn to create and use library members, including custom library members such as construction types, schedules, systems and more.
    • Share files and libraries.
    • Practice using the program through in-class exercises.
    • Interpret results and the various output reports.
    • Know where to find answers and seek help.

    Audience

Beginning and intermediate level users of TRACE 3D Load Design software.
