2016 Ventilation Standards

First published in 1973 as Standard 62 and widely updated for 2016, ASHRAE Standards 62.1 and 62.2 are the recognized standards for ventilation system design and acceptable IAQ in commercial and residential buildings.

Both Standards have undergone extensive scope changes and are intended to be used for calculations for code review and physical operation. This edition also includes a major change to the scope of the standard.

Residential Goes Green

The revised and expanded third Edition of ANSI-approved National Green Building Standard is now available. An important resource for designers, contractors, developers, and policy makers, ICC/ASHRAE 700-2015 National Green Building Standard (NGBS) serves as the industry benchmark for residential projects designed and built for high performance. This third edition brings together three industry leaders - ASHRAE, ICC, and NAHB - to improve and update the NGBS, which serves as the basis for several federal, state and local green building programs.
