    Standards Administration Specialist

Through research, standards writing, publishing, and continuing education, ASHRAE shapes tomorrow’s built environment today.

    ASHRAE has an immediate full-time hybrid opening for a Standards Administration Specialist to assist and provide administrative support to the Assistant Manager of Standards Administration.

    Duties:

    • Serve as a staff liaison to multiple committees – schedule meetings, draft agendas, prepare minutes and distribute ballots
    • Provide administrative support for appeals hearings
    • Assist the AMOS-Administration with ANSI audit and compliance with ANSI Audited Designator status
    • Coordinate interim meeting requests from project committee chairs 
    • Coordinate funding requests from project committees
    • Maintain and manage task sheets

    *Other tasks as assigned by the AMOS-Administration

    Ideal candidate must have a Bachelors’ degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience. Candidate must have strong experience in administrative support. In addition, the candidate must possess:

    • Strong organizational skills
    • Experience with association management and committees preferred
    • Self-starter and ability to complete tasks with little supervision
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
    • Knowledgeable in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams)
