2022 AIA Georgia Design Award Winner

ASHRAE Net Zero Headquarters Renovation was amongst the winners at the 2022 AIA Georgia Design & Honor Awards Event. This project was selected from a group of 100 submissions by a jury of distinguished architectural professionals from across the United States; stating "(the) project was a great example of the integration of design excellence and positive environmental impact this program seeks to highlight ".

‘Fully’ Net-Zero-Energy Milestone

ASHRAE’s global headquarters will operate at net-zero-energy (NZE) performance following the recent installation of a large photovoltaic (PV) system. The 332kW project was a combination of three sub-arrays: 187kW ballasted rooftop, 65kW ground mount on a south facing hill adjacent to the building and 81kW ground mount situated in an unused section of the parking lot. This marks a tangible milestone for ASHRAE that will demonstrate to how to successfully move on the path to NZE status. Learn More
