Course Description

This course focuses on how the building commissioning process can be applied cost-effectively to new construction and to existing facilities, with a strong emphasis on existing facilities applications. The fundamentals of the commissioning process through each step of a new construction project, from predesign to occupancy and operations will be introduced. Find out more about how the application of the commissioning process in existing facilities differs from new construction. Learn about the benefits of commissioning and gain an appreciation for how the process can improve the built environment, reduce environmental impacts through responsible resource utilization, improve the quality of design and construction, and raise the professional reputation of the entire commissioning team. Commissioning documentation, including an overview of commissioning specifications for new construction will be highlighted. Cancellation Policy

Course registration fees will be refunded in full if cancellation is received by ASHRAE Customer Service at 800-527-4723 or orders@ashrae.org before 12:00 noon, seven working days prior to the course date. Cancellations received between three and seven working days prior to the course date are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Registrants who do not attend a course or cancel less than three working days prior to the course date are liable for the entire course registration fee. Registration fees can be transferred by contacting ASHRAE Customer Service at 800-527-4723 or orders@ashrae.org.
