Business Cases for Improved Control and Internet of Things in HVAC/R
Today many machines in HVAC/R like pumps, fans or compressors have sensors and data interfaces included. Nevertheless, it is still an open question in many cases how those technical features can be used in business cases and contribute finally to the P&L (Profit & Loss) with a financial earning. Technology which is not supporting a business plan is mainly adding cost and not increasing the value generated by a product. In this paper, several proposals are presented on how sensors, data and interfaces (Internet of Things, Industrial Internet) can be used to generate value.

Data Centers: Digital Revolution Impact, Part 2
The digitization of human beings will profoundly change everything about human life, the buildings we live and work in, and the integration of the two. Since everything we do as humans revolves around ourselves, it stands to reason that the digitization of humans could be the ultimate big data endeavor.

    LCI (Lean Construction Institute) Website

Transforming Design and Construction: A Framework for Change
A diverse set of practitioners collaborated to create the Transforming Design and Construction: A Framework for Change book based on the transformative projects and experiences of their Lean practices.

Target Value Delivery: Practitioner Guidebook to Implementation – Current State 2016
Target Value Delivery: Practitioner Guidebook to Implementation was collaboratively written by a team of more than 20 Target Value Delivery (TVD) practitioners to provide current state practical guidance to implementing TVD with a project team.

    Don’t Conform, Transform!
If you are a leader who is looking to improve the process and outcomes of commercial construction projects, LCI’s Don’t Conform, Transform is the book for you. This book catches the voices, real-world wisdom and experience of Lean/IPD leaders who have mastered the philosophy and value of each practice described.

Target Value Design: Introduction, Framework & Current Benchmark
Target Value Design (TVD), referring to the application of Target Costing (TC) to the delivery of projects in the AEC industry, radically differs from what has become the traditional way of designing and making products. TVD is a method that makes customer constraints (on cost, time, location and others) drivers for design in pursuit of value delivery. This document introduces TVD by retracing its roots and describing why owners and, in fact, all project participants can benefit from using TVD

LCI Special Edition: This Is Lean
This is Lean gives an easily accessible, structured, and inspiring account and description of Lean. Most important perhaps is the value and effect of the joint development of the whole organization, and the structured way of working from co-workers to executives. Here are enormous benefits to gain both for co-workers, for the company and organization, and not the least for the customer.
