YEA Inspirational Leader Award
Objective
The YEA Inspirational Leader Award recognizes a Young Engineer in ASHRAE (YEA) member who has gone above and beyond to make considerable contributions to the industry and community. This award is inspired by the previous New Faces of Engineering award program that was managed by DiscoverE and was put on hiatus in 2017. The YEA Committee feels that this recognition should be continued to encourage YEA members to make a positive impact on their industry outside of their ASHRAE participation.

Criteria
- Applicants must qualify as a YEA member, which is an Affiliate, Associate or Member of ASHRAE who is 35 years of age or younger at the start of the current Society year.
- Applicants must have been an ASHRAE member for at least 3 full years prior to the award deadline.
- Applicants must not be a current member of Society level YEA Committee or Society level Honors and Awards Committee
Nominations
Members may be nominated by an ASHRAE member or may nominate themselves.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, May 1st.
