    Karine Leblanc, Member ASHRAE

     Karine Leblanc the National Sales Manager at iAIRE, where she uses her engineering background, coaching and relationship-building skills to motivate and develop a winning sales team.

    She has a mechanical engineering degree from Ecole de Technologie Superieure in Montreal, a university focused on applied engineering and technology. She is a certified John Maxwell coach, trainer, and speaker, a certified behavioral analysis consultant, and an eSpeakers certified virtual presenter. She is the published author of How to Be Human in a Technical World available on Amazon.

    Not your typical engineer™, Karine served on the board of directors for ASHRAE from 2014 to 2017 and holds the distinction of becoming the first female Region X director and regional chair since 1959.  She is the Past-President of the National Speaker Association Los Angeles Chapter. She has received the ASHRAE Distinguished Service Award, John F James International Award and was awarded an honorary medal as part of the 50th anniversary of the University of Quebec for her exceptional contribution to the university.

Her journey began with a deep passion for building a better future, starting in the trades as a carpenter before advancing into engineering, project management, and Owner’s Representation.

    With a robust educational background, and extensive hands-on experience, Dee possesses a diverse and comprehensive knowledge of construction best practices, ongoing education, engineering, and sustainability. This unique multidisciplinary perspective distinguishes her in the industry.

    Dee's career has largely focused on large-scale new construction projects in the life sciences and manufacturing sectors, managing projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Her expertise and dedication to sustainability continue to drive her commitment to excellence in construction and education.

    Transfer, Cancellation and Refund Policy: Registration fees will be refunded in full if cancellation is received by ASHRAE Learning Institute at least 30 days prior to the training date. Cancellations received 15-29 days prior to the training date are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Registrants who do not attend the training or who cancel less than 15 days prior to the training date are liable for the entire registration fee.
