Biography

Brandon Gill is a Principal at Taylor Engineers responsible for HVAC and controls system design and commissioning. Mr. Gill has specific expertise in designing mechanical systems for liquid cooled data centers and rack labs. Mr. Gill is actively designing or commissioning four hybrid liquid/air-cooled rack labs ranging in size from 9 MW to 13.5 MW.

In addition to his design and commissioning responsibilities, Mr. Gill also actively participates in research and teaching. He was one of the principal researchers for ASHRAE Research Project RP-1711: Advanced Sequences of Operation for HVAC Systems – Phase II Central Plants and Hydronic Systems; was the lead instructor for UC Berkeley Extension’s Controls Course for 4 years; and annually teaches a data center design course with Jeff Stein for Pacific Gas & Electric.
