Artificial intelligence (AI) policy: ASHRAE prohibits the entry of content from any ASHRAE publication or related ASHRAE intellectual property (IP) into any AI tool, including but not limited to ChatGPT. Additionally, creating derivative works of ASHRAE IP using AI is also prohibited without express written permission from ASHRAE.
Daniel Dixon, P.E., Member ASHRAE, is Supervisor of Interlocal Projects for the Lincoln Electric System (LES) in Lincoln, Nebraska. In this role, he serves as project manager responsible for overseeing the business and operations of six thermal energy plants for District Energy Corp. Prior to this role, Mr. Dixon served LES as a project engineer managing capital projects and providing engineering support for three gas turbine power plants. Mr. Dixon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is a registered professional mechanical engineer in the state of Nebraska.
