Jason D. Freudigmann, P.E.
Jason D. Freudigmann, P.E. brings over a decade of expertise in HVAC system design as a licensed professional engineer in the state of Wisconsin. Holding a BSME from Michigan Technological University, Mr. Freudigmann started his career in 2010 at Greenheck Group’s Innovent Custom Air Handling Equipment business as a Design Engineer designing all aspects of large custom air handling equipment, including complex cooling, heating, and energy recovery systems. In 2014, he joined Greenheck Group’s Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (DOAS) business as a senior product development engineer focusing entirely on energy efficient DOAS air conditioning and heat pump design and psychrometric testing.
With deep involvement in ASHRAE and AHRI committees on mechanical dehumidification, DOAS, testing and rating standards, Mr. Freudigmann contributes invaluable industry perspective. He currently serves as a voting member and the standards subcommittee chair for ASHRAE's TC 8.10 (Mechanical and Desiccant Dehumidification Equipment, Heat Pipes and Components) and the vice chair for both ASHRAE SPC 198 and the AHRI Dehumidifiers STC. Mr. Freudigmann has been involved in various unitary and DOAS method of test and rating standards including both ASHRAE 37 and 198 as well as AHRI 210/240, 340/360, 920, 1340 and 1600 in addition to contributing to the ASHRAE handbook. His decade long ASHRAE membership and hands-on work in psychrometric testing and standards contributions allows Mr. Freudigmann to advance the field of efficient and advanced HVAC technologies.
