Jeff Ross-Bain is a Registered Professional Engineer with over 35 years of experience in HVAC design, commissioning, and sustainability. Since 2001, Jeff has worked exclusively in the field of high-performance green buildings. In 2009, Jeff formed Ross-Bain Green Building (RBGB) and provides expert technical and integrated support services to owners, architects, engineers, and building users to optimize building performance and reduce environmental impacts. Jeff operates out of Atlanta, GA and Charleston, SC, and primarily serves the Southeast.
Jeff has been involved on over 100 LEED registered or certified projects, has had direct administrative control and has provided energy simulations for LEED Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum buildings. Furthermore, Jeff has conducted numerous energy and water audits, consults across the gamut of sustainable building issues. He also conducts new and existing building commissioning, provides sustainable facility management guidance, and regularly leads college classes, workshops, and talks on a wide array of environmental, energy and sustainability topics. To date, he has presented to over 10,000 attendees, and has conducted talks in the United States, Canada, Europe, Puerto Rico, and India.
