Khalid Nagidi, Member ASHRAE, LEED® AP

    Biography

    Khalid Nagidi, Member ASHRAE, LEED® AP, has extensive experience in the design of efficient building services, including solar energy systems for a variety of new and existing facility types and scales. He is an active member of numerous engineering and industry organizations, including ASHRAE, the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), and the United State Green Building Council (USGBC).

    Currently, he serves as the Chair for ASHRAE Technical Committee 6.7, Solar and Other Renewable Energies. He is a past expert member of the Task 48, Quality Assurance and Support Measures for Solar Cooling program.

    Mr. Nagidi received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) and his Master of Science degree in energy management from the Center for Energy Policy and Research at NYIT.
