Nikhil Singh, CEM, CMVP, EIT, LEED GA is a senior environmental designer at Atelier Ten, and is an energy-efficiency professional focused on high-performance building design. Nikhil’s primary focus is on existing building projects—binding what already exists with new ideas to create carbon roadmap strategies for long-term energy conservation. He is responsible for training new staff in drawing review, assumptions documentation, energy model setup, and LEED modeling and documentation. Nikhil has experience in scoping, design, energy modeling, and measurement and verification in healthcare, higher education, government, and commercial markets. He also has experience in front-end HVAC and building automation system controls in these environments as well.
Nikhil previously focused on energy efficiency solutions for The Efficiency Network (TEN). Early on, Nikhil designed, developed, and project-managed comprehensive campus-wide LED lighting and water projects for universities, K-12 schools, hospitals, and commercial customers. At the same time, he was the Technical Engineer on all smart city solutions projects that integrated ioT and edge computing software. Nikhil holds a M.Sc. in in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from The George Washington University.
